Anthony WONG (Conductor)
Anthony began his vocal training at the age of 19 with Miss Chan Siu-kwan and attained the Licentiate of Trinity College of London (L.T.C.L.) in Voice in 2012. He took part in various workshops and masterclasses, including Taipei International Choral Festival and the summer programmes at the Eastman School of Music, receiving guidance on choral conducting and vocal pedagogy from maestros such as Theodora Pavlovitch, William Weinert, Kathryn Cowdrick and Robert McIver. He had also been the conductor and vocal coach of a number of local schools' choirs. In 2013, Anthony founded Synergy Voices with his friends.
As a singer, he joined various local and international competitions and performance, including the Hong Kong Schools' Music Festival and the Llangollen International Musical Eisteddfod in Wales. In 2011, he was invited to represent Hong Kong to perform in the World University Students' Concert during the Universiade in Shenzhen, which was nationally broadcasted. He now sings in a number of choirs including Hong Kong Voices and Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra Chorus.
Anthony read law at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, from where he obtained his Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) degree and Postgraduate Certificate in Laws (P.C.LL.). He is now enjoying his career as a trainee solicitor.
